ACRES offers a wide variety of programs designed to provide greater awareness and enjoyment of natural areas. ACRES events and programs are open to the public - you do not have to be an ACRES member to participate. All programs are offered free of charge unless otherwise noted in the description. Choose an upcoming event and join in the fun!

Register your ACRES preserve group activity by using this easy online form. The event will be added to this web page, Facebook, and Google Calendar.  Please submit the event request at least two weeks prior to the event date.  Posts will be updated every Sunday evening.

Work Day at Hathaway Preserve at Ross Run

Help remove autumn olive (an invasive species) and mark the property boundaries at this beautiful preserve.  Tools and refreshments will be provided, but you are encouraged to bring along your favorite handsaw or loppers and gloves.

Join us as we remember Marion Eberhardt and celebrate the opening of our newest nature preserve in Steuben County.

Parking at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 1508 Williams Street (SR 827), Angola, IN 46703. Located on the northwest end of Marion's Woods.

Directions: From Angola take US 20 (Maumee Street) east 0.25 mile to SR 827 (Williams St.) and turn left (north). Travel 1.1 miles to Calvary Lane (50 N) and turn right (east). Travel 0.2 mile to the preserve on the left just past Beckland Drive.
