Celebrating Edna W. Spurgeon Woodland Reserve’s Induction into the Old-Growth Forest Network
Join us to celebrate the induction of Edna W. Spurgeon Woodland Reserve’s mature forest into the Old-Growth Forest Network, a national group working to identify and protect native, old-growth and future old-growth forests across the country.
By joining this network, we’re helping build not only a network of forests, but also an alliance of people who care about forests.
A representative from the Old-Growth Forest Network will join us for a brief dedication ceremony, followed by a guided walk where you’ll learn about the land’s history and unique natural features. Together, we’ll explore why long-term forest protection matters for our region and how you can support the ongoing care and stewardship of this special place.
Please RSVP by April 23.
