Spurgeon Woodland Reserve’s mature forest into the Old-Growth Forest Network\, a national group working to identify and protect native\, old-growth and future old-growth forests across the country. \nBy joining this network\, we’re helping build not only a network of forests\, but also an alliance of people who care about forests. \nA representative from the Old-Growth Forest Network will join us for a brief dedication ceremony\, followed by a guided walk where you’ll learn about the land’s history and unique natural features.
