Comprised of 71 acres, the Chung and Sage Lee Natural Area is home to steep ridges, tall trees and a rich understory. The ridges, with more well-drained soils, support many black and white oak trees, along with many bigtooth aspen. The remaining upland areas are recovering from historic grazing and are dominated by sugar maple and black walnut, with the occasional beech tree.
